Dress Code
We respectfully request that members and guests uphold our dress code traditions. Children are expected to observe the same dress code as adults. Please help us avoid embarrassment by informing all family members and guests of our dress policies. With regard to appropriate dress, determinations made by the Club Manager, Flag Officers and Dining Room Manager are final.
At all times:
- Shirts and shoes are required on all Club property.
- Gentlemen must remove their hats when in the Galley Grill, Bar and Dining Room.
Galley Grill:
- Gentlemen: Shirts, shorts or slacks, and shoes.
- Ladies: Shirts or blouses, shorts, slacks or skirts, and shoes.
Dining Room, Bar, Bridge Deck and String Piece:
- Denim is not considered proper attire in the Clubhouse.
- Lunch:
- Gentlemen: Collared shirts, shorts or slacks, and shoes.
- Ladies: Shirts or blouses, shorts, slacks or skirts, and shoes.
- Evening - After 6:00 p.m.
- Casual Nights (Monday - Friday)
- Gentlemen: Collared shirts, slacks or dressy shorts (no “cargo” shorts), and shoes.
- Ladies: Shirts or blouses, slacks, dressy shorts or skirts, and shoes.
- Saturday
- Gentlemen: Jackets are mandatory, collared shirts, slacks, and shoes.
- Ladies: Blouses, slacks, skirts or dresses, and shoes.
- Sunday
- Gentlemen: Jackets and ties are mandatory, collared shirts, slacks, and shoes.
- Ladies: Blouses, slacks, skirts or dresses, and shoes.
The dress policy may be relaxed for certain special events. Damp attire after a race of sailing class is expected, but we request that the members be considerate of others and not wear sopping wet clothing into the facilities at any time.
